Peacefully, at Sakura House in Woodstock on Monday, November 28, 2011, Donald Ross Elmer Davis of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 59 years to the late Jean (Paquette) Davis (2010). Loving father of Terry (Doris), Rick (Dalphine) and Brad (Annie). Treasured grandfather of Dawn Duncan (Sean), Jason (Stephanie), Tim (Shannon), Ryan and Alyssa Davis. Proud great-grandfather of Tucker Davis, Tess and Delaney Duncan, Addison and Avery Davis. Dear brother of Jackie Campbell (Ken). Don was the former proprietor of Pearce Motors in Tillsonburg. The family will receive friends at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Donald Graham of Aylmer United Church officiating. Interment in the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
