After a lengthy battle with illness, surrounded by her loving family, Marjorie Florence Todd (nee McCurdy), formerly of Vienna and Port Burwell area, passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Caressant Care Nursing Home, St. Thomas, at the age of 85 years. Predeceased by her loving husband Norman (1997). Loving mother of Robert (Linda) Todd of St. Thomas, Douglas (Beth) Todd of Tillsonburg, and Barbara (Leroy) Mahoney-Holt of London. Supportive grandmother to Janice Todd, Darren (Pamela) Todd, Tyler Todd, Melissa (Robert) Jones, Todd (Tena) Mahoney, Trevor (Stacey) Mahoney, Tara (David) Kristensen. Great grandmother to Caitlyn, Liam, Gavynn, Rheanna, Christopher, Nicholas and Brayden. Wonderful Aunt to several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Earle and Florence McCurdy, siblings Robert, Austin, Ralph and Harold McCurdy, son-in-law Gerald Mahoney. The family will receive friends at Ostrander’s Funeral Home 43 Bidwell St. Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Monday, April 21, 2014 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. Funeral Service for Marjorie will be held in the Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at 11:00 p.m. Rev. Steven Amorin of First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will be in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Vienna. At the family’s request memorial donations (payable by cheque) may be made to the Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
