Obituary for Mostyn "Brad" Lawrence Bradley

Mostyn "Brad" Lawrence Bradley
Mostyn “Brad” Lawrence Bradley
1937 - 2014
Mostyn “Brad” Lawrence Bradley of Tillsonburg and formerly of Port Loring and Windsor passed away with his family by his side at Victoria Hospital in London on Saturday, September 6, 2014 at the age of 77 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Erika for 57 years. Loving and caring father of Sue Chilcott (Newt) of Calgary, Mike Bradley (Marietta) of Tecumseh and Linda Plank (Grant) of Mt. Elgin. Cherished grandfather of Brianne (Brad), Danielle, Matthew, Kelly and great-grandchildren Brooke and Brynn. Dear brother of Evelyn Miller of P.E.I., Jim Bradley (Sharron) of Fonthill and Malcolm Bradley of Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. Also survived by a niece Brenda Bradley and 3 nephews Steve Miller, Alan Miller and Scott Bradley. Predeceased by his parents Norman and Gwendolyn (Russell) Bradley. Brad was retired from the GM Windsor Transmission Plant for 25 years. He enjoyed the first 22 years on the Pickerel River and the remaining 3 years in Tillsonburg. He enjoyed every minute of his life, always positive even in the most difficult situations. He was a teacher of a balanced life style, teaching others how to work hard, respect others, have fun, and more importantly “how to pay it forward.” He was an active golfer, fisherman, and a member of the Royal Canadian Legion. Brad always took an active role in every community he lived in. Thank you to the nurses and doctors of the Critical Care Trauma Center (Victoria Hospital, London) for their professional, compassionate care. Thank you to the Baldwin Place community in Tillsonburg for their kindness and support. In keeping with Brad’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Kidney Foundation or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch # 415 Port Loring can be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
