Peacefully at the Middlesex Terrace Long Term Care on Friday, September 26, 2014. Amanda “Winnie” (Vaughan) Almost of Tillsonburg passed away at the age of 95 years. Loving wife to the late Milton Almost (2003). Dear mother of Rick Almost of Kitchener. Cherished grandmother of Jessica, Sarah and Lance and 4 great-grandchildren Emily, Chris, Maytrix and Eve. Also survived by many nieces & nephews. Predeceased by her parents Lemuel & Iva (Bowman) Vaughan as well as 5 sisters Orla Miller, Ruth Miller, Glenna Burke, Marie Ashton, Fern Lambert and 1 infant brother Murray Vaughan. Friends will be received at the Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 on Monday, September 29, 2014 from 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Mark Ferrier officiating. Interment in the Rosanna Cemetery. Memorial Donations to the St. Paul’s United Church or Charity of Choice would be appreciated by the family.
