After a courageous battle with cancer, at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Saturday, October 25, 2014, Patsy (Dair) Tucker of Tillsonburg, passed away at the age of 67 years, surrounded by her caring and loving family. She never gave up. Beloved wife and best friend of Samson “Levi” Tucker. Loving mother to Lisa (Devon) Tucker-Picco. Cherished grandmother to Jacinda McCormack and Jimmy McCormack. Great grandmother to Hunter and Brooklyn. Sister to Evylene Hoadley, Dorothy Powell, Edna Myers, Pearl Reeves, Marguerite Claus, Grace Ward, Suzanne (Glen) Shipp, Terry Reeves, Cathy Jollymore (the late Michael), Danny Reeves, Rob Reeves, Tim (Carrie) Reeves, Jamie (Robin) Reeves. Patsy was a wonderful Aunt to her several nieces & nephews. A special mention to James and Lori Smith and their family, you were always a part of our family. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Beulah Dair, and her birth mother Pearl Reeves (nee Dair), brothers Russell (Bessie) Dair, Fred (Cora) Dair, Donald Dair, brother-in-laws Robert Hoadley, Victor Powell, Allan Myers, Bob Reeves, Jim Claus, and Harry Ward. Visitation for Patsy will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, ON, N4G 3T6, (519) 842-5221 on Thursday, October 30, 2014 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. where the funeral service for Patsy will commence at 2:00 p.m. following the visitation. Cremation will take place following the funeral service for Patsy. A family committal service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated by Patsy and her family, but feel free to donate in her memory to the charity of your choice. Everyone gains from your generosity and can be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, who have been entrusted with the arrangements. The family would like to send a special Thank-you to the 2nd floor Nursing Staff at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital for their care and support to the entire family during this very difficult time. Also, a special Thank-you to the London Regional Cancer Centre, Victoria Hospital, especially the Oncology Department who everyday are there to help all of us conquer cancer.
