Lonnie Roy Chapman (1952 – 2014)
Lonnie Roy Chapman of Tillsonburg passed away at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, Novemeber 18, 2014 at the age of 62 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Geraldine (Rate) Chapman. Loving father of Heidi Hopper (Jason) of Delmer, Greg Chapman (Marian) of London, Darlene Calhoun of Tillsonburg and Ken Calhoun of Tillsonburg. Cherished son of Lila Chapman of Simcoe. Proud grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Larry Chapman (Debbie) of Silver Hill, Harvey Chapman (Darlene) of Huntsville and Barry Chapman (Lisa) of Wellesley. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his father Elwood Chapman and sister Shirley Ann Chapman. Friends and relatives are invited to share memories of Lonnie at the Salvation Army Church, 110 Concession Street West, Tillsonburg on Monday, November 24, 2014 from 10 – 11 a.m. A Celebration of Life Service for Lonnie will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Major Ron Ferris officiating. Inurnment at a later date in Cultus Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Lung Association may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
