Peacefully at Dayspring Residence, Tillsonburg on Monday, March 30, 2015, Ruth (Kent) Grawburg formerly of the Dereham Centre area, passed away with her family by her side at the age of 94 years. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Lorne Grawburg (2014). Loving mother of Anita (Julius) and Francis Grawburg (Kim) of Tillsonburg. Cherished grandmother of Marie, Kathy, Kent (Andrea), Eric and great-grandmother of Nicole, Robert, Alexis and Zachary. Dear sister of Evelyn Pineo of St. Thomas. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Fred Kent, sister-in-law Muriel Kent and brother-in-law Franklin Pineo. Ruth was a member of Mt. Elgin United Church as well as a U.C.W. member and farmed with her husband in the Dereham Centre area for many years. Friends and relatives will be received at Mount Elgin United Church, 324105 Mount Elgin Road, Mount Elgin on Thursday, April 2, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Lynne Allin officiating. Spring interment in the Mount Elgin Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Mount Elgin United Church or Dayspring Residence may be made by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) who have been entrusted with the arrangements.
