Peacefully, at St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Friday, April 17, 2015, Elaine Mary MacDonald, formerly of Vienna, passed away at the age of 98 years. Dearly loved aunt of Wendy Hamilton (Bob) of St. Thomas, Pat Cole (Wayne) and John MacDonald (Maria) both of Vienna. Elaine will be missed by her great niece and nephews Shawn Cole, Cindy Miller, John MacDonald Jr., Jason Underhill, Justin Underhill and many great-great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Flossie (Turrill) MacDonald and 3 brothers Jack, Arlo and Gordon MacDonald. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Monday, April 20, 2015 from 3-5 & 7-9 p.m. Order of Easter Star Memorial Service will commence on Monday evening at 7 p.m. under the auspices of OES Areme Chapter # 15 Vienna. The Funeral Service for Elaine will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Roger Landell officiating. Interment to follow in Light Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Children’s Wish Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
