Myrtle L. (Smyth) Bartolacci, of Port Burwell, passed away peacefully at the Terrace Lodge, Aylmer on Friday, May 22, 2015 at the age of 95 years. Myrtle was an avid gardener, who loved to knit and crochet. She was always up for a game of cards or scrabble. Her family & friends meant so much to her. Predeceased by her husband Attilio Bartolacci. Loving mother of Robert (Frieda) Bartolacci of Kitchener and Edward (Dale) Bartolacci of Scarborough. Cherished by her grandchildren Lori (Terry) Rintoul, Rob Bartolacci, Lynda (Kevin) Hummel, Donna Bartolacci (Joe), Kevin, David and Steven Bartolacci and Brennan Bartolacci, step-grandchildren Lisa (Dean) Phillips, Jennifer Neirinckx, Chris (Louisa) Oliver. Also missed by great-grandchildren Katelan Bartolacci, Alycia & Jessica Hummel, Jamie & Kelly Rintoul, Lily Bartolacci, step-great-grandchildren Connor & Taylor Phillips, Kandace Gorza and Kris Gorza and great-great grandchildren Logan, Kacey & Jakob and step-great-greatgrandchildren Britney Gorza, Madison, Bryson, Zachary and Colby Gorza. Predeceased by her parents Floyd and Irene (Flewelling) Smyth, son Donald Bartolacci, daugther-in-laws; Barb, Lynn and Claudia Bartolacci, sisters; Marguerite Fowlow, Leta Townsend, Donna Doucette, Pauline Clark, Joan Matschke, Mildred Smyth, Evelyn Smyth, Eileen Vannes and Kathleen Smyth and brothers; Earl Smyth, Jack Smyth and Gordon Smyth.
Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519) 842-5221 on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Norman Jones officiating. Interment in St. Luke’s Cemetery, Vienna. Memorial donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
