Muriel Elizabeth Albright (1922 - 2015)

Peacefully on July 23, 2015 at St. Thomas Elgin Hospital, Muriel Albright passed away at the age of 91. Predeceased by her loving husband Wilfred Albright for 68 years. Caring mother of Judith Suggs (Richard) of Montana, Donald Albright (Linda) of Tillsonburg, Kenneth Albright of Tillsonburg and Robin Albright (Robyn) of Calgary. She happily knitted sweaters and booties for all her grandchildren; Ian (Laura), Ehrin (Timothy), Nicholas, Keri (Dan), David, Jarred, Hayley, Keelan (Aaron) and Aidan. Muriel was a very proud great-grandmother to Austin, Eleanor, Deegan, Fletcher, Emmett and Eva. Predeceased by her sister Jean Davis and brother in law George Davis of Otterville. Her peppy sprit that lasted to the end will be missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Muriel lived a perfect life filled with a love for singing in St. Paul’s Church choir, digging in the garden and surrounding herself with friends in the community. Friends and Relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 42 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday July 26th 2014 from 3-5 & 7-9pm. The funeral service for Muriel will be held at St Paul’s United Church, 88 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg on Monday, July 27th at 11:00am with Rev. Mark Ferrier officiating. Interment to follow in the Tillsonburg Cemetery. Memorial donations in Muriel’s memory, to St. Paul’s United Church or the Canadian Cancer Research would be appreciated.
