Maurice “Mo” Blodgett
1932 – 2015
BLODGETT, MAURICE (MO) – Peacefully, with his family by his side, Mo passed away on Sunday, July 26, at the age of 83. Mo was Gwen’s beloved husband of 63 years and cherished father of Craig (Judy), Mike (Kathy), the late Karl, and Jeff (Wendy). Loving Papa/Poppa to Mike (Annick), Angela (Elliott), Jennifer (Chris), Adam (Susan), Nick, Holly (Kevin), Ryan, AJ, and Taylor. Great-Poppa to the next generation of Blodgetts: Kamryn, Kohen, Addison, Michaela, Ethan, Connor, and Isaiah.
Mo had a distinguished Ontario Hydro career that spanned 38 years. He could always be counted on to inventively fix anything and for the impeccable timing of his terrific sense of humour.
Private family inurnment at a later date. Those wishing to make a donation in Mo’s memory are asked to please consider the CNIB or a charity of your choice by contacting Ostrander’s Funeral Home (519)842-5221 who has been entrusted with the arrangements. Special thanks to the 2nd floor nurses at the Tillsonburg Hospital for their care and support.
