Peacefully at his residence on Tuesday, September 1, 2015. Mert McClintock of Springford passed away at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Marjorie (Squance) (1995) and the late Dorothy (Ryder) (2012). Dear father of Michael J. McClintock and his wife Margaret, Marjorie Joanne Rice and her husband Douglas, step-children Bill (Karen) Ryder, Jim (Anna) Ryder and Linda (Richard) Redling. Cherished grandfather of Kathy, Debbie, Adam, Bryan and Craig as well as several step-grandchildren and Great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews. Also survived by brothers Donald (Joan) McClintock and Peter (Betty Lou) McClintock. Predeceased by his parents Ross & Katy (Jamieson) McClintock and 4 brothers. Friends will be received at the Ostrander’s Funeral Home Ltd., 43 Bidwell Street Tillsonburg, (519)842-5221 on Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. where the Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Friday, September 4, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lola Mather-Dyer officiating. Inurnment in the Springford Cemetery at a later date. Memorial Donations to the Springford Baptist Church or to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
