Obituary for Phillip and Jane Esseltine

Jane (August 13th 1960) and Phil (May 28, 1956) Esseltine

Loving and living life to the fullest, our beloved Phil and Jane Esseltine made a sudden and heartbreaking passage from our world. At the centre of a large and close family this couple loved unconditionally and brought comfort and joy to everyone. Phil and Jane were exceptional parents, proud grandparents and devoted friends. Working as a team, Phil and Jane built on the success of AgroSpray Limited. They celebrated life; enjoyed cottaging, travelling, boarding, boating and above all entertaining the people they loved. Phil and Jane made the world better and bright for son Matthew (Stephanie nee Fordham), daughter Lisa (Phil Tribe), daughter Claire; granddaughters Harlow and Hazel; Phil’s Mother Madge and Father Clare [predeceased]; sister Dixie; sister Carolle; brother Rick [predeceased]; Jane’s Father Jack Lanthier and his wife Marge, Mother Joan [predeceased]; Jane’s brothers and sisters Michelle, Peter, Nancy, Judy, John and Anne. As pillars of the community, Phil and Jane put others before themselves. Phil’s involvements included Chairman of the Board for Tillsonburg Hydro Inc., Director and Past President of Tillsonburg District Chamber of Commerce, Past Master of Ashlar Lodge #701, Tillsonburg Minor Hockey Coach, and Junior Achievement. Jane was Vice Chair of the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, a member of the Tillsonburg Multi Service Centre, and Junior Achievment. Phil and Jane were partners in business, life and leisure. Married for 34 years, they exemplify what it means to be deeply in love. Visitation for Phil and Jane will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited, 43 Bidwell St., Tillsonburg, ON, (519) 842-5221 on Monday, November 16, 2015 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the Lions Auditorium, 45 Hardy Street, Tillsonburg on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be held at the Tillsonburg Cemetery.
