KENNETH RICHARD GRANT
Passed away peacefully after a courageous struggle on Sunday February 7, 2016 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital in his 74th year with his family at his side. Survived by his loving wife of 50 years Cynthia (Mitchell) and daughters Lynn Grant and Jennifer Hoggard (Trevor). Much loved grandfather of John, Mical and Azlynn. Brother of Shirley Wanless (Bill). Brother-in-law of Junior Atkins and Nancy Anderson (Larry). Predeceased by his parents Ken and Ruby Grant, sisters Mona Stewart (Max) and Dixie Atkins and grandson Brennan. Also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Will be greatly missed by his constant 4 legged canine companion Molly. In keeping with Richard’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 7-9 p.m. and Friday February 12, 2016 from 1-2pm followed by the Celebration of Life to be conducted by the Reverend Father David Joyce of St. John’s Anglican Church Tillsonburg. Inurnment at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St. John’s Anglican Church, Tillsonburg, the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital or the Charity of your choice.
