Peacefully, surrounded by his family and friends at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Monday, July 18, 2016, Cecil Carl Kennedy passed away at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Barbara (Taylor) Kennedy of Aylmer. Proud and loving father of his two sons Brian Kennedy (Kendra) of Dorchester and Kevin Kennedy (Maryann) of Brantford. Cherished grandfather of Robert (Susan), Ashley (Neil), Tristan, Sawyer and great-grandfather of Holden and Rowan. Dear brother of Margaret Rose (Earl) of Richmond. Cecil is also survived by his dear friend Anne Copeland of Aylmer. Predeceased by his parents Clifford and Eunice (Locker) Kennedy. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Thursday, July 21, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service for Cecil will be held in Ostrander’s Chapel on Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Paul Robinson officiating. Interment to follow in the Straffordville Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Cancer Research Society would be appreciated by the family.
