Peacefully at VON- Sakura House, Woodstock, on Wednesday July 20, 2016. Robert James McAra “BOB” of Eden passed away at the age of 68 years. Loving Father to Hailey McAra (Brady); Spencer McAra (Sara); Mandy Varga (Ben); Karie Bell (Steve); Shanon McAra (Angela). Grandfather to 7 grandchildren. Survived by his mother Ruth McAra. Brother to Dennis McAra (Vikki), and their son Cody. Uncle to Lisa Robinson and her husband Dave and family. Predeceased by his father James McAra, and sister Colleen Hutchinson, nephew Dean. Guelph Tool Inc. was like a second family even when he was away from work. In keeping with Bob’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Saturday, July 23, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Memorial Service for Bob will be held at 1:00 p.m. in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel. Inurnment will be held at a later date. Memorial donations to the VON-Sakura House or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
