It is with heavy hearts that we have to announce the passing of our wonderful wife, Mom & Gramma Carol Hirt. On Saturday Dec 3 2016 she passed peacefully, after a short battle with cancer, in her 77th year. Adored wife of Gene (55 years), loving mother to MaryBeth McElhone (Trevor), Cathy Dejaegher (Brian), Lisa Hirt (Rob). Carol was a devoted Bell Telephone operator for 25 years. When she wasn’t working she was a social butterfly. Her family and friends were her hobby. She loved travelling the world and spending time with family and friends at the cottage.
