There's truly people who come thru our lives that are heaven sent. Last July when we took our last trip together to the Rocky Mountains we met a couple on a hiking trail in the mountains to ConstellationLake. First of all the hiking trail should not have been something to venture on when one was facing terminal cancer, but that was not deterring my husband,! It should have taken about 45 minutes to hike to the lake but it was slow going for Brent in his condition. Unfortunately we forgot his ventolin puffer so that made the hike even more difficult for his breathing. There was hardly anyone else hiking that day and as we were about an hour and a half into the hike along came a couple named Tony and Nadine... they instantly recognized Brent was having a lot of difficulty. They stopped to offer help or drinks or whatever they could do. Nadine it turns out has asthma and she had a ventolin puffer in her backpack which she did not hesitate to offer to Brent. It was divine intervention that moment took place. That made all the difference for Brent to achieve his goal of getting to Constellation Lake! We thanked God for the gift of His creation in the stunning nature around us and sending us this sweet couple to our aid. They caught up with us on the return trip and we exchanged emails. Now they have sent me a beautiful card as they had a tree planted in Brent's memory. They tell me they tell everyone they know about our meeting and how inspired they were by our love for each other and Brent's determination. They are an extension of Gods love and proof there are angels among us.
