It is with great sadness the family wishes to announce the passing of Mrs. Laura Margaret Rex of Tillsonburg on Wednesday June 28, 2017 at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital with her family by her side. She was 75 years of age. Loving and loyal wife of 39 years to her husband, Dale. Big sister to Norma Collis, and supportive sister in law to David Collis. Laura will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by a wide circle of friends and relatives. Laura was Secretary for the Corvettes of Western Ontario for 40 years, she was a proud member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority – Mu Zeta Local Chapter; Tillsonburg Seniors Community Choir; Member of the Bell Ringers; Teacher for T.V.D.S.B. for many years at Princess Elizabeth Public School, Ingersoll; Member of Retired Teachers of Ontario; and the Ingersoll Quilt Guild. Predeceased by her parents O. Glen and Doris Taylor. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Monday, July 3rd, 2017 from 2:00 – 4:00 & 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. The Funeral Service for Laura will be celebrated in the Chapel of Ostrander’s Funeral Home Limited on Tuesday, July 4th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Rev. Pat Cook, officiating. Interment to be held in Tillsonburg Cemetery. A special thank-you to our relatives, the Taylor family, The Lynes family, the Robbins family, Cheryl and Dick Bell, and all her special friends.
