Melissa was a vibrant, young girl who used to find me on duty in the schoolyard and would drop by my classroom and LST room on occasion just to say, "Hi" and chat for a few minutes. I was lucky to talk to her a few times this school year. She was kind, adored her siblings, and loved life. I am sorry for your loss. She will be dearly missed by the South Ridge community. My heart goes out to all of you in this very difficult time.
