Condolence: As a family living in Beaconsfield, Quebec in the 1970's, we were embraced by Anne and Bill as our next door neighbours in so many ways. They often had to tolerate our highly spirited, growing sons and their "antics"; they spoiled our young daughter like grand parents; and over the years have become very treasured friends.
It is with sadness that we mourn Anne's passing, but she will remain in our hearts as our own gentle and generous, animal-loving friend with those unique West Virginian "sayings".

Condolence: Dear Bill, we got to know Anne first when you lived in Soest, Netherlands and later in Montreal. We always enjoyed your hospitality!

Our condolences with the passing of Anne, and we are glad to read that it was peaceful and painless. What a long life she had!

We wish you the very best Bill, and perhaps we can reconnect again one of these days.

Warm wishes, Rob & Christine

Condolence: Dear Bill and family,

Anne was always one of my favorite people--truly one of a kind--and I loved her dearly. I thought of her every time I passed near your home in Beaconsfield. And remember those AWC dinners? Anne taught me how to poach a pear!

Thinking of you,

Sabra (and Jacques)

Condolence: On behalf of Shirley Cohen, Montreal:

Anne was my mentor in the AWC-Montreal. I served on her board and learned how business should be conducted--honestly and properly. When I became president, I followed those rules. They have helped me all my life. Condolences to Bill and the family. She will always be loved and admired by me.

Condolence: I am so very sorry to learn of Anne's death. She was a pleasure to speak with and to care for when she was in my dental office. I know how much Bill will miss her - they made a great couple.
