Ruth Pearl Chute (1922 – 2014)
Peacefully, on Monday, December 8, 2014 at the Maple Manor Nursing Home, Tillsonburg with her family at her side, Ruth Pearl (Vannatter) Chute passed away in her 93rd year.Much loved wife of the late Donald Chute (1983).Predeceased by her parents Nelson (Roy)Vannatter & Ellen Victoria (Waltling)Vannatter.Dear mother of Cindy Allin (Terry) and Vane Chute (Carol) all of Tillsonburg. Predeceased by her daughter Elaine (2000). Sadly missed by her 11 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also survived by her sisters Phyllis McBride (Late Clare) and Marion Abbott and her husband Bert, sister-in-law to Marjorie Vannatter as well as several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Ilene Nelson (Colin) and Marguerite Staley (Walter), Norma Wood, brothers William (Bill) Vannatter (Sally) and Don Vannatter. The family will have a Funeral Service on Saturday December 13, 2014 at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) with Rev. Donna Chapman officiating. Interment to follow at St. Luke’s Cemetery, Vienna. Memorial donations in Ruth's memory to the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital, Alzheimers Society (Oxford), First Baptist Church, Tillsonburg, Maple Manor Recreational Fund or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
