1944 - 2015

After a courageous battle with cancer, Norma Ruth (Martin) Vince passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Friday, February 27, 2015 in her 71st year. Loving wife of 32 years to Jack Vince. Loving mother of Linda (Trevor) Taylor of Straffordville, Lisa (Paul) Alward of Port Burwell, Brent (Nicole) Barker of Aylmer and step-mother to Theresa Miller, Melissa Balint of Port Burwell, Ed (Ramona) Scott of Straffordville. Dear grandmother of Cassandra Taylor and David McKillop of Iona Stn., Carol Taylor, Gage Alward and Brent Barker Jr. and step-grandma to Gregory and Melissa Miller, Jeremy and Amanda Fitch, Dan (Alysha) and Jason Scott. Norma is survived by her stepfather William (Alfreda) Noels. Dear sister to Kathy (Murray) Alward, Cheryl (Lloyd) Johnson, Ilene Ali and Mike (Linda) Berta and Jim (Doreen) Ketchabaw. Sister-in-law to Nancy Vince, Shirley (Peter) Wiebe and Agnes (Tony) Roopan. Cherished niece of Berniece Wood and the late Ruth Kristoff. Predeceased by her parents Fred Martin and Leota Noels and sister Anne Marie Horton. Family and friends will be received at the Trinity Anglican Church, Port Burwell on Thursday, March 5, 2015 from 12:30 p.m. until time of Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Fr. Robert Clifford officiating. Inurnment to follow in the church cemetery. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
