Surrounded by his family at the Tillsonburg District Memorial Hospital on Thursday, May 21, 2015, Scott David Peters, of Brownsville passed away after a courageous battle with ALS at the age of 42 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Louise (Sanderson) Peters. Loving and caring father of Kayla and Jared both at home. Dear brother of Michelle Simpson and her husband Damian of London. Cherished grandson of Jean Dennis of Tillsonburg and Ruth Peters of Parkhill. Scott is also survived by his father-in-law Randy Sanderson of Tillsonburg, brother-in-law Keith Sanderson and his wife Deb of Tillsonburg. Proud uncle of Syvannah, Keriah, Kelsey, Dalton, Brooke and Makenna. Predeceased by his parents David and Margaret Peters, grandfathers Mac Dennis and Howard Peters and his mother-in-law Dianne Sanderson. Friends and relatives will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519-842-5221) on Sunday, May 24, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service for Scott will be held in Ostrander’s Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, May 25, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. with Rev. Lynne Allin officiating. Interment to follow in the Delmer Cemetery. In memory of Scott, memorial donations to the ALS Society or the Peters Children's Trust Fund would be appreciated by the family.
