Arthur “Rex” Whitely
The family wishes to announce the passing of their beloved father and grandfather, Arthur “Rex” Whitely of Hanover, formerly of Tillsonburg, on Friday August 15, 2014 at Hanover District Memorial Hospital at the age of 90 years. Predeceased by his loving wife Sally (nee Sorely). Proud father of sons Mark and his wife Holly of Hanover, and Stephen Whitely of Boston. Grandfather to Kelli, Leanne, Ren, Grant & Millicent. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Margaret, and brother to Jack and Marjory. Friends will be received at Ostrander’s Funeral Home, 43 Bidwell Street, Tillsonburg (519)842-5221 on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will commence at 1:00 p.m. following the visitation. Cremation will take place after the funeral service for Rex. Inurnment will be in the Tillsonburg Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. Memorial donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated.
